Children's Ministry!
We consider it a privilege to serve the Lord, by
serving you and your children. We recognize the importance of investing
in the children of today. Jesus saw the value in making children a
priority when He said, …."Let the little children come to Me, and do not
forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. "Assuredly, I say to
you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will
by no means enter it." Mark 10:14-15 (NKJV) and "Whoever receives one
little child like this in My name receives Me." Matt 18:5 (NKJV)
 The ultimate goal of our
Children's Ministry is to see children surrender their hearts to Jesus,
and continue to walk in His ways, all the days of their life. I once had
someone say to me, "children spell love, T-I-M-E", and that is an
emphasis at our church. Our Sunday school teachers are trained to do
their best to give every child as much personal attention as possible,
and model God's love for them.
Behind all the puppets,
crayons, and popsicle sticks, is the desire to see your children learn
and live the Bible. God's Word is "living and active" (Hebrews 4:12),
and only it can bring about true and lasting change. Our focus is to see
children instructed in God's Word and God's will, by using exciting and
creative teaching tools, to overcome the challenge of a short attention
span. As well as asking your children if they had fun in Sunday school
today, we encourage you to also ask them what they learned at Sunday
school today.
 We realize that a children's
ministry is in reality a family ministry, and we are here to minister to
your needs as well as your children's needs. We appreciate your input
and insight. We look forward to building friendships, not merely
acquaintances as we partner with you in the goal of bringing your
children into a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Children's Ministry wouldn't exist without a dedicated group of
volunteers who are committed to the children that they are serving.
Please consider joining our team. A willing heart, a love for children,
and a desire to serve God is what you will need to be a part of this
vital part of the church. Have no fear! We will spend the time to train
you and equip you to be a great Sunday school teacher. |
